18-year-old Okada rider shot dead in robbery attack at Adugyama

A young man, thought to be in his early 18s, is accused of shooting and killing an Okada rider in Adugyama, in the Ahafo Ano South East District of the Ashanti Region. This is a horrifying incident.

According to some eyewitnesses who spoke to Jacob Agyenim Boateng of Ghanatodayonline.com, the culprit took the victim’s motorcycle and left the Okada rider to perish.

The local police are still investigating the crime, which happened on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and have not yet identified the victim or the suspect.

In a shocking turn of events, locals disclosed that the suspect was taken to Mankranso Hospital after getting into an accident while trying to flee.

Intent on killing the offender, Okada riders in the neighborhood reportedly stormed the hospital, but prompt police action stopped additional bloodshed.
