2024 elections: Convention People’s Party opens nomination for flagbearership race

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has urged its comrades to choose their nomination papers if they intend to run for president in 2024 on the party’s ticket.

In order to select a flagbearer for the general elections in 2024, which will take place from Thursday, April 20, 2023, through Thursday, May 11, 2023, the party has started nominations.

The CPP General Secretary, Nana Yaa Akyempim Jantuah, announced the start of nominations in a statement that included the authorized fees and rules for the flagbearer race.

The total cost, according to the party, was “Picking of Nomination Forms GHS20,000, Filing Fees GHS200,000, Grassroots Mobilisation Development Fund GHS230,000, Grand Total GHS450,000.”

“All payments given to the congress committee are non-refundable,” it further stated.
