Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s Finance Minister, has promised that the country’s 2025 budget will spur economic expansion, development, and opportunity for all Ghanaians.
Ato Forson reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting social progress, economic resilience, and shared prosperity at the budget presentation, which is scheduled for March 11.
The budget will give priority to projects that advance economic development, growth, and opportunity for all, according to Ato Forson.
“As we enter the final phase of preparations, our focus remains steadfast on delivering a budget that fosters growth, development, and opportunities for all,” he stated.
The administration is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere that allows businesses to prosper, expanding access to reasonably priced credit, and building infrastructure, the finance minister underlined. Ato Forson pledged that “this budget will reflect our commitment to economic resilience, social progress, and a future of shared prosperity.”
The economy of Ghana has seen many difficulties in recent years, such as a substantial public debt, inflation, and a big budget deficit. To stabilize the economy, the government has put in place a number of initiatives, such as the Ghana CARES program, which aims to boost the economy and encourage sustainable growth.
