At Adum in Kumasi, a 26-year-old woman is said to have been shot dead by a young man who is thought to be her boyfriend.

The Thursday evening incident happened just a few meters from the deceased’s home.

Several witnesses claim to have overheard the deceased Victoria Dapaah pleading with the young man only known as Tycoon not to kill her and that she had not cheated on him.

The young man allegedly continued to shoot her many times, according to the witnesses.

An eyewitness said that the two got into a furious dispute just prior to the incident because the deceased’s purported lover had accused her of cheating.

When Maadwoa uttered Tony’s name and begged him not to kill her because she hadn’t cheated on him, the eye witness remarked, “at first we thought he was an armed robber.”

But he was unreceptive. Six shots were fired at her. Five empty shells were found by the police before they found her dead, and one more shell was found afterwards, according to the eyewitness.

Adwoa Nyarko, the deceased’s mother, stated in an interview with media that her daughter called the young man and then went out to visit him.

However, she claimed that the family is unable to determine whether the dead was dating the person who is accused of committing the conduct.

So, the family is requesting that justice be done in this case.

The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for Inspector Ahmed Twumasi in connection with the suspected murder of Maa Adwoa, a 26-year-old woman, at Adum in the Ashanti region.

According to police sources in Kumasi, their colleague is currently on the run, and they are making every effort to apprehend him to aid investigations.

According to a different source from Manhyia Palace, the suspect allegedly called a driver at the palace with the name (4040) after performing the alleged crime and informed him of it as well as his intention to commit suicide.
