Nine persons are presumed dead following a catastrophic vehicle collision on the Goaso-Mim route.
The unfortunate event involving the worker-transporting bus occurred this morning.
Witnesses claim that when the bus was involved in the accident, it was transporting a group of workers.
Although the reason of the collision is yet unknown, police have opened an inquiry into the incident.
The injured and the dead have both been sent to the Goaso Government Hospital for medical attention.
While the bodies of the deceased are being readied for autopsy, the hospital is trying to stabilize the injured patients’ health.
Numerous people have expressed their sympathies to the families of the dead as a result of the catastrophe, which has shocked the community. To prevent tragedies like this, the authorities are advising drivers to drive carefully and to abide by all safety precautions.
