Presidential candidate Alan Mr. Kyerematen has urged party delegates to support him in his effort to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to a third straight victory in the upcoming general election in 2024.

In an effort to “break the eight” the custom of changing governments every eight years Kyerematen claimed during a campaign stop in the Oti Region that he is the best candidate to beat the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its nominee.

Mr. Kyerematen drew attention to his prior accomplishments and emphasized his dedication to promoting employment growth and economic development by revolutionizing the agricultural industry and building industries across the country.

He emphasized how much the people in the area, especially the young ones, would gain from such initiatives.

Mr. Kyerematen also emphasized the need to avoid abandoning initiatives that previous administrations had undertaken because doing so frequently wastes resources.

He thinks that a consistent leadership style would promote the growth and success of the country.

As part of his campaign, Mr. Kyerematen paid a courtesy visit to Nana Mprah Besemuna III, the Paramount Chief of the Krachi Traditional Area, who lauded Kyerematen’s political reputation and leadership style.

The chief pledged to support Kyerematen more if he wins the NPP’s presidential candidacy and voiced his support for him.

During his visit, prominent individuals accompanied Mr. Kyerematen, including Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Boniface Abubakar Sadiqque, Carlos Ahenkora, the NPP’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema West, Bright Baliggi, the NPP’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Lambussie, and John Peter Amewu, the NPP’s Member of Parliament (MP) for Hohoe and Minister of Railway Development.
