The National Democratic Congress (NDC), the country’s main opposition party, has halted all party activity.
In a letter issued to all regional chairmen and bearing the signature of Acting General Secretary Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, she stated that the party’s Functional Executive Committee made the decision at a meeting on September 18, 2023.
She claims that the action will allow party executives at all levels to concentrate solely on the exercise and encourage voters to register.
