The vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) members to remain steadfastly committed to the “Breaking the 8” project.
He made it clear that recent changes inside the party should not distract them from their main goal.
Following his trips to various voter registration centers, Dr. Bawumia delivered his message to party members in the Eastern Region.
He emphasized that the main goal for the 2024 elections should remain their focus, despite Alan Kyeremanten’s resignation and other events within the NPP.
He called upon NPP members to remain fully dedicated to the “Breaking the 8” campaign slogan, which symbolizes the party’s ambition to secure a third consecutive term in power.
“Don’t doubt yourself; although it will take a lot of effort, it is possible to break the eight. I shall need more of your efforts if we are to break the eight. Let’s keep our collective attention on the objective at hand, which is breaking the eight, and not get sidetracked by happenings.
Let nobody distract your attention we are going to win if we focus on breaking the eight in 2024, according to Dr. Bawumia.
