Ex-military personel, Capt. (rtd) Prince Kofi Amoabeng has noticed that partisan politics and religion is detrimental to the growth of the Ghana Armed Forces and the country at large.
Though, Ghanaians are living as peace loving people without any civil war, Capt (rtd) Amoabeng, therefore credited this to freedom of Association and free speech in the Army.
“The only good thing that has come out from this is that there is no coup. No coup because the Army has been politicised and therefore the heads are NPP.
“When I was in the Army, religion and politics were the two things we never discussed. Because you were there for the State”, Ghanaweb quoted the former founder of the defunct UT Bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng.
