Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has acknowledged that the ruling party will have significant challenges in the general elections of 2024.

The elephant family will prevail, but it will be a very difficult one, according to Mr. Boakye, often known as Nana B.

I think the New Patriotic Party will have its toughest election yet in 2024, but I have a great sense that we will win.”As the National Organizer, I am aware that this will be the hardest battle we have ever faced, but I declare to God’s glory that we will win,” he said to Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president, was chosen by the NPP to be its leader.

Dr. Bawumia was proclaimed the winner by the Electoral Commission at the conclusion of the race after he received 118,210 votes or an astounding 61.47% of the total 193,346 votes cast. Ken Ohene Agyapong, his closest competitor, received 71,996 votes.

Dr. Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai-Nimoh, the other candidates, received 1459 and 781 votes, respectively.

Dr. Bawumia won by a wide margin in every region, with the exception of the Volta and Central regions.

A few names have surfaced in the public sphere urging Dr. Bawumia to choose Kennedy Agyapong as his running mate in order to force a “showdown” with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to reports, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the minister of communication, and Frema Osei Opare, the chief of staff, are reportedly at odds about who would be the most suitable partner for Bawumia.

According to reports, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is putting a lot of effort into vying with her male rivals for the coveted spot while also pursuing Frema Opare, who has expressed a strong desire for the position.

There were rumors that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Minister of Energy and Manhyia South Member of Parliament, intended to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate.
