President Akufo-Addo appoints Safia Mohammed as School Feeding National Cordinator

Hajia Safia Mohammed has been named as the new National Coordinator of the School Feeding Program by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The appointment follows the Sunday, November 12, 2023, death of the program’s national coordinator, Madam Getrude Quashiga.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) 1st Deputy National Women’s Organizer, Hajia Mohammed, will take over as the program’s leader and supervisor, according to a letter from the Secretary to President Nana Bediatuo Asante.

The new School Feeding Program was tasked in the letter with carrying out her responsibilities with “superlative professionalism and ensure the success of the program.”
