The New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership has praised President Akufo-Addo’s most recent ministerial shuffle.
On Wednesday, February 14, President Akufo-Addo dismissed Ken Ofori Atta, the minister of finance, along with ten Cabinet ministers and two regional ministers.
In a statement dated February 14, 2024, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong acknowledged the President’s dedication to promoting advancement and reviving its administration.
The party holds that the reorganization shows how he is responding to the demands of the country and reaffirms his dedication to responsive governance that looks out for the interests of the people.
“The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is pleased to express gratitude and appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his decisive government reshuffle, which includes the appointment of new Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), Ministers, and Deputy Ministers.”
“The NPP continues to express profound appreciation for the dedication and service of those departing from their roles, urging them to continue supporting the government and the party in our collective pursuit of national development.”
He continued by saying that the President’s choice to reorganize is evidence of his dedication to promoting advancement and reviving our administration.
In addition to expressing gratitude, the general secretary asked the departing appointees to keep up their support for the party and the government.
In addition to congratulating the new hires, Mr. Kodua Frimpong urged them to submit creative ideas.
