Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has been named Senior Presidential Advisor and Special Envoy for International Finance and Private Sector Investments by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
On Wednesday, February 14, Mr. Ofori-Atta was removed from his role as Finance Minister and Mohammed Amin Adam took his place.
In a statement dated February 15, Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare wished the former Finance Minister well and congratulated him on his appointment.
“I am pleased to inform you that the President of the Republic has appointed you as the Senior Presidential Advisor and Special Envoy for International Finance and Private Sector Investments.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate you formally on your reassignment and wish you the very best in this new office,” Frema Osei-Opare stated.
