In order to secure victory in this year’s elections, former New Patriotic Party (NPP) general secretary John Boadu has counseled party members to conduct a door-to-door campaign.
Mr. Boadu appealed to polling station executives and party members to exercise caution during the elections and not restrict their campaign solely to the triumph of the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but also to the parliamentary candidates.
At a nondenominational thanksgiving service in Begoro hosted by NPP Fanteakwa North parliamentary candidate Kwame Appiah Kodua, he disclosed this. Attendees at the event included hundreds of party members and supporters, as well as past and current Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs), NPP constituency executives, and parliamentary candidates from other constituencies who ran alongside Kodua.
Vice-President Dr. Bawumia’s chances of winning this year’s presidential election were boosted by Mr. Boadu, who claimed that the 70 initiatives he had outlined to better the lives of Ghanaians would be sufficient to win him the election.
Furthermore, he pointed out that Ghanaians had nothing to gain from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
