The Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Limited Maxwell Kofi Jumah says anybody who supports the anti-gay bill is an anti- Christ, no matter your pedigree, position, religion or party affiliation.
Speaking to Adwoa Adubia on the Adubia TV about the anti-gay bill which has created a lot of controversies in the country, Kofi Ghana affectionately called indicated that the anti-gay bill infringes on the rights of the LGBTQs in the society and makes life in Ghana difficult for them. He added that landlords are supposed to report gays or lesbians who live in their houses which is a total infringement on their rights.
According to Maxwell Kofi Jumah, all Ghanaians should be treated as human beings regardless of their sexual preferences and it is painful that the laws of the country do not protect these persons of people which is a worry.
He advised Christians and Pastors to leave the LGBTQ+’s society to God and not enact laws to incriminate and kill them. ‘A lesbian and gay person has rights, Jesus said those without sin should throw the first stone and we shouldn’t be judging, leave them to their God’ he added.
The Anti-gay bill is a bad law and Pastors and Christians shouldn’t support these laws but should rather protect the LGBTQs in our society.
