Hon. Kingsley Nyarko, the representative for the residents of Kwadaso Constituency in the Ashanti Region, delivered a hematological analyzer machine and computers to Apatrapa Government Hospital today, Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Speaking to the media, Hon. Kingsley revealed that he spent Gh35,000 for the hematological analyzer machine in addition to two laptops.
He continued by saying that the device may be used for a variety of blood screening tasks, which will discourage individuals from seeking out blood tests outside of the hospital.
The hospital’s management were advised by Hon. Kingsley to take excellent care of the machine in order to extend its lifespan.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Dr Kingsley Nyarko, expressed gratitude to the hospital’s benefactor for complementing the government’s efforts to deliver health care to the people and urged other well-to-do natives of the area to emulate the gesture.
Government alone cannot shoulder the operational cost of health facilities dotted across the country, it is our responsibility as citizens to contribute our quota in this direction. As a Member of Parliament, I will continue to looby for more health equipment to ease pressure associated with lack of tools and equipment in our health facilities”
He pledged to see to it that the hospital’s landscape was started at the very least within the following two months.
Receiving the items, the Municipal Directorate of Health for Kwadaso Municipal, Mrs.Grace Billi KampiTip on behalf of all workers, praised Dr Kingsley Nyarko for his continuous support for the facility.
On behalf of the management, staff and patients, she thanked the MP and expressed the hope that as Oliver Twist asked for more he would assist in the provision of residential accommodation for the hospital staff.
