Shortly after being released from the hospital, Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lil Win, was taken into custody by police at the Manhyia Divisional Police Command’s Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD).

This comes after a recent incident in which the three-year-old youngster was sadly killed in a car that he was driving.

The deceased’s family has been outspoken in their demands for compensation for their loss.

Due of Lil Win’s health, the police said that it took longer to capture him. However, a police car took him to the station when he was released from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Lil Win was brought into custody at the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD while investigations into the accident are ongoing, despite the fact that the police have not released any specific information regarding the accident or his involvement in it.

Following his arrest on Monday, June 3, actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, was granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court.

Lil Win is accused of recklessly causing injury and driving too fast.

The accused should make himself available wherever he is required, the prosecution told the court, adding that they are still looking into the case.

The prosecution added that the accused’s health was a factor in the case’s delay.

Margaret Adjei-Twum, Lil Win’s attorney, asserted that her client should be given bail so that he can receive care due to the suffered internal bleeding among other ailments.

She said that her client was well-liked throughout the nation and would not elude the court as the case developed.

She added that even though her client hasn’t entirely recovered, the cops pushed them to appear in court.

At the Asokore Mampong District Court, there was a noticeable police presence.

The case has been postponed until June 27, 20
