Man, 25, sentenced to 16 years in prison for stealing church instruments

After stealing musical instruments from two churches in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly, Ernest Tetteh, a 25-year-old resident of Manya Kpongunor, was given a 16-year jail sentence.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the Odumase Krobo District Court rendered its decision.

Following an inquiry brought on by allegations from Christian Vision International Church and The Life of Christ Ministry, Tetteh was taken into custody on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

After trying to sell four GSL speakers that had been taken from the Nuaso Odjadornya temple of The Life of Christ Ministry, he was caught at his Abanse store.

Two people who are thought to be Tetteh’s accomplices are being held at the Koletso Police Station until more investigations into possible charges are conducted.

On Wednesday afternoon, the prisoner underwent a successful COVID-19 vaccine and was thereafter sent to Akuse Prisons to serve his sentence.
