John Dramani Mahama has been advised by Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), not to count on winning the next elections just yet.
Known by his amiable nickname NAPO, he feels that the previous president is underestimating the circumstances surrounding the present election.
He claims that if he loses the general election, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress would be in for a surprise on December 7.
During the NPP manifesto launch in Takoradi, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh gave an address in which he pledged to put up great effort in realizing the goal of ending the eight-year cycle.
“Those with hidden agendas who believe the election is already decided should be prepared for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to win the December 7th election,” he said.
“We, the supporters of NPP, will campaign tirelessly, going from room to room, house to house, village to village, community to community. We are determined to end power outages, eliminate fuel queues, and ensure that education is not dependent on financial status. Accountability is on the horizon for those with hidden agendas. We will work relentlessly to create a better Ghana” he added.
