John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has warned President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that they might not give the NDC the presidency if it wins the elections on December 7.
Mr. Mahama issued a warning, saying that Ghanaians, who are ready for change, will fiercely oppose any attempt to subvert the will of the people in the next elections in 2024.
On the last day of phase two of his campaign visit in the region, Mr. Mahama issued these cautions to the people of Oyibi in the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
He underlined that the NDC is ready to protect the election process’s integrity and said that the people’s demand for change must be honored.
Mr. Mahama emphasized the mounting calls for a change in leadership throughout the nation when he said, “Any effort to suppress the will of the people will be met squarely by Ghanaians.”
