School uniforms and stationery have been presented to some indigent students at Osino Islamic Basic School in the Fanteakwa South region of the East Region by Hajia Maurijanatu Mohammed, the Queen Mother of the Zongo Chief’s Council of Akyem Abuakwa Council.
During her recent visit to the school, the queen mother said that she saw depressing issues such as pupils arriving for class with ragged school uniforms and inadequate learning resources.
She donated on Tuesday to provide educational materials to students at Osino Islamic Basic School who do not have access to sufficient school supplies because of the circumstances surrounding her generosity.
The recipients were given six school uniforms, three hundred exercise books, twenty-four math sets, a pack of pens, a set of school bowls, table spoons, water bottles, pencils, erasers, and other items.
The Queen Mother has demonstrated unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable and education in her community, consistently providing valuable incentives and assistance.
According to her, despite limited resources, she’s committed to improving the welfare and living conditions of the needy in Osino.
She laments the fact that most local parents struggle to make ends meet and cannot buy their kids the necessary school supplies.
According to her, the donation will enable them to further develop their abilities and provide the pupils with a solid foundation for both their own and their community’s futures.
The humanitarian observed that the recipients will become more self-assured in going to school, begin to like studying, and be inspired to go more frequently.
Osino Islamic Basic School teacher Madam Aishaitu praised the Zongo Queen Mother for her kindness.
She acknowledged the ongoing support for her school and said the contribution was unexpected and timely.
In order to finance future donations, Madam Aishaitu urged philanthropists to lend their financial assistance to the Queen Mother.
