The paramount chief of the Dwenim Awasu traditional area in the Jaman South Constituency, Awasumanhene, Nana Bofobene IV, has expressed tremendous faith in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying that he holds the key to Ghana’s future.
The chief commended Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and vision for the nation during a courtesy call by the Vice President, who is also the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 elections.
The Vice President Bawumia’s capacity to lead Ghana toward prosperity, especially in the fields of digitalization, economic reform, and technical innovation, has been shown, the Awasumanhene stressed.
He urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, pointing out that his progressive ideas might provide a brighter future for the coming generation.
The difficulties that the residents of the Jaman South Constituency experience, including inadequate healthcare, education, and infrastructure, were also mentioned by Nana Bofobene IV.
He expressed his expectation that under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, the area would see much-needed development and the people’s standard of living would improve. The chief’s speech emphasized how crucial it is for leaders to put the wellbeing of all Ghanaians first.
In 2024, Nana Bofobene IV urged the residents of the constituency to back Dr. Bawumia in his presidential quest, reasoning that his visionary leadership is essential to realizing Ghana’s full potential.
He wished the vice president well in his campaign and voiced hope that his administration will bring about long-lasting improvements for the nation.
“Even though you don’t hail from here, we don’t see you as such because your good deeds are following you. You are not an ordinary mate, but you have probed issues and seen the policies that you can make the country progress.”
“The second independence of Ghana, we are taking t from you. The future of Ghana to be and to my people rest in your hands,” he stated.
