He pointed out that this would significantly reduce the amount of bills individuals have been paying for the power they use.

“Rather than continue to buy fuel and gas to power our domestic systems and industries we can develop solar farms and manufacture solar panels to power our systems and thus reduce the cost of electricity consumption in the country”, Dr Bawumia stated.

According to Dr. Bawumia, he has plans to guarantee food security in the nation by providing more farmers with high-yielding seedlings and fertilizer to grow on their farmland.

He added that farmers would also receive assistance with agricultural mechanization systems, which would enable them to cultivate crops with advanced machinery and technology.

Dr. Bawumia reassured the throng at the major Obuasi Market, Akrofuom, and Obuasi East and West that he would defend the social intervention programs that the Nana Akufo-Addo administration had initiated.

Under his administration, Dr. Bawumia promised to continue and preserve programs like “planting for food and jobs,” “free SHS,” “free TVET,” “one district, one factory,” and “free dialysis treatment at the hospitals.”

In order for him and the other NPP parliamentary candidates to jointly bring about a revolutionary agenda for the nation, he urged the populace to cast their votes in large numbers on December 7.

“I represent bold solutions for development and a vote for me would ensure the protection of useful social interventions and the starting of new policies aimed at making life more bearable for the people of Ghana”, Dr Bawumia added.
