Today, November 25, 2024, John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will embark on a campaign tour to the Western Region as part of his last-ditch effort to garner support before the general election on December 7.
On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Mahama’s three-day tour will come to an end, with just 12 days left until the election.
In order to get their approval for his campaign, he will make a courtesy call to the Western Regional House of Chiefs before beginning his visit.
Mahama is expected to meet with religious leaders in the region after his meeting with the chiefs. In order to explain his vision and solicit votes, he will also visit a number of seats, including Wassa East, Shama, Essikado-Ketan, Sekondi, Effia, Kwesimintsim, and Takoradi.
This journey follows Mahama’s recent five-day trip to the Eastern Region, during which he engaged with party members and appealed to people to support the NDC in the forthcoming election.
