In contrast to former President John Dramani Mahama’s “outdated” strategy, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has positioned himself as the leader to guide Ghana into a successful future.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized the value of visionary leadership and the continuance of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) revolutionary initiatives when speaking to supporters at the party’s final rally before the elections on December 7.

“This election is a clear choice between the future and the past. My opponent represents the past and I, Dr Bawumia, represent the future of this country,” he stated.

“So, the choice that we have on Saturday, as we go to vote, is whether we want to go forward into the future or backwards into the past.  A mindset of possibilities underpins us in the NPP and the work that we have done.

“We believe that it is possible to transform this country into an advanced nation,” Bawumia said.

Patriotic Party (NPP), has charged that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is using religious discrimination and ethnic politics in their campaign for the general elections scheduled for December 7.

Speaking at the University of Ghana Sports Complex on Thursday, December 5, at the NPP’s last campaign rally, Kodua claimed that the NDC’s campaign tactics were desperate since they believed they would lose the next elections.

“The NDC has seen that the election we will be having on Saturday, they have lost. They are sensing their impending defeat and have now resorted to tribal politics and religious discrimination,” Mr Kodua stated.
