As Ghana joins the rest of the globe in commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, Bono Regional Minister Hon. Justina Owusu-Banahene has sent her warmest regards to all Ghanaians.
In order to avoid any casualties, the Regional Minister urged the people of the Region and Ghana as a whole to celebrate Christmas carefully.
During her interview on Ark FM on Tuesday, Justin Owusu-Banahene urged everyone to work together to save lives in her Christmas message.
As the government pursued the Better Ghana Agenda, she urged all Ghanaians to continue praying for God’s love and peace so that the nation could solidify the current peace and stability.
Hon. Banahene called on Christians to use this year’s celebration to adhere to a shared set of values, including honesty, integrity, generosity, peace, and forgiveness.
The Minister lamented that rather than doing the needful, many professing Christians engage in sinful acts, crime, and criminal activities that Jesus Christ preached against.
She explained that the way out of the situation is for Christians to adhere strictly to the teachings that centre on repentance, salvation, redemption, and reformation into new life.
Inasmuch, the Bono minister called on Christians to reflect God’s light and incarnational love into the world as we seek to be a bearers of that same hope, compassion, and peace that came into the world through Jesus.
Hon. Justina Owusu-Banahene urges drivers and Ghanaians in general to carefully adhere to traffic regulations, drive safely, and celebrate in moderation in order to ensure a very calm and happy Christmas, in keeping with the Nation Road Safety Authority’s goal of reducing traffic accidents.
She claimed that in order to survive, the modern world “required vigilance and personal security consciousness.”
In order to help them manage their finances during Yuletide, she has advised Ghanaians to spend prudently over the Christmas season.
Christmas was marked by the purchase of decorations, food, beverages, and new gowns, according to Justina Owusu-Banahene, who advised the public to exercise restraint when spending money on these items.
