President Mahama nominates first set of ministers

John Abdulai Jinapor and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine have been named Ministers-designate for Energy and Attorney General/Minister of Justice, respectively, while Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has been named Finance Minister-designate by President John Mahama.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President’s Acting spokesperson, made the announcement in a statement.

According to a statement released by the presidency on January 9, President Mahama has, in compliance with Article 78 of the 1992 Ghanaian Constitution, sent the cabinet nominations to Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament.
