President Mahama appoints Justina Nelson as Acting CEO of Minerals Income Investment Fund

Justina Nelson has been named as the Minerals Income Investment Fund’s (MIIF) acting CEO by President John Dramani Mahama.

Less than twenty-four hours after the President withdrew the nomination of Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng, she was appointed with immediate effect.

At Zenith Bank, Justina Nelson is currently a Group Head who oversees the commercial banking and energy industries.

She has held a number of high-level positions in both public and commercial organizations, giving her a wealth of knowledge in the mining and financial industries.

“The President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has in accordance with Article 195 (1) of the Constitution and Section 21 (2) of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) Act, 2018 (Act 978), appointed  Ms. Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income Investment Fund”, the Presidency issued a statement.

The appointee has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Master of Business Administration (Marketing), a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Management and Psychology.
