Deputy ministerial nominees to be vetted on Monday

The Deputy Majority Leader, Kweku George Ricketts Hagan, has announced that the vetting of deputy ministerial aspirants would begin on Monday, February 24, 2025.

He said that as the status of the statutory members of the reformed Appointment Committee has not altered, there won’t be any surprises. As a result, Bernard Ahiafor, the First Deputy Speaker, will remain the Chairman of the Committee.

Stakeholders were encouraged by the announcement that the committee’s current leadership and structure will continue, guaranteeing a seamless and predictable selection process for deputy ministerial candidates.
