The Ghana vs. Madagascar encounter was described by coach Otto Addo as “much, much difficult,” but his team managed to hold the islanders down to a 3:0 triumph in Morocco on Monday night, March 24, 2025.

Former Ghana Black Stars captain Thomas Partey provided the first two goals, which occurred in the eleventh and fifty-third minutes of the first half.

Kudus Mohammed also scored in the 58th minute of the second half.

Ghana’s 5:0 thumping of Chad at the Accra (Ohene Gyan) Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21 was followed by the triumph at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium in Morocco.

Since the team’s poor performance during the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign in 2024 prevented the four-time winners from competing, the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers triumphs are a nice surprise to supporters.

Otto Addo was kept on and appears to be on a redemption streak, despite the strong call for his dismissal following the AFCON ambitions being crushed.
