The children and widow of legendary musician Daddy Lumba, Priscilla Fosu, popularly known as Odo Broni, paid heartfelt tributes during his final funeral rites at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Heroes Park in Kumasi.
Tearfully, his children recalled their father’s warmth, guidance, and unwavering love.
They said his legacy will continue to inspire future generations and that, even in his absence, his protection and advice remain with them.
Widow Priscilla Fosu also delivered an emotional tribute. She described meeting Daddy Lumba as a “blessed moment” and thanked him for bringing joy, respect, and the memorable name Odo Broni into her life.
She expressed gratitude for their six children and reflected on the peace he brought into her life. “Though he is gone, I am grateful for the journey we shared,” she said, praying that his soul rests in perfect peace.
Fans, friends, and loved ones joined in mourning, celebrating the life and enduring influence of one of Ghana’s most cherished musicians. The ceremony highlighted the deep impact Daddy Lumba had on his family and the wider Ghanaian music community.
