President Akufo-Addo accepts Alan Kyerematen’s resignation

The resignation of Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen has received the approval of President Akufo-Addo.

The President has since instructed Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to serve in that capacity until a permanent replacement is named.

On January 5, 2023, Alan Kyerematen gave the President his letter of resignation.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership position in the 2024 general election has long been said to be a goal of the guy known as “Alan Cash.”

It’s thought that by resigning, he will have more time to run for president.
