Since 2020, it has kept the score.
Out of 180 nations in the globe, the nation is now placed 72nd.
Transparency International’s study accurately reflected this.
The Corruption Perceptions Index, Transparency International’s main research product, has been the most reliable global indicator of corruption in the public sector since its launch in 1995.
According to the most recent report, which was published on January 31, 2023, Finland is in second place with an 87-point score, followed by Denmark with a score of 90.
South Sudan (number 13), Syria (number 13), and Somalia are the three nations at the bottom of the list (12).
Seychelles continues to dominate the African continent with a CPI score of 70, followed by Botswana and Cabo Verde, each with a score of 60.
The lowest performers in the group are Burundi (17), Equatorial Guinea (17), South Sudan (13) and Somalia (12).
