A woman who was stabbed to death in Sepe- Boukrom in the Ashanti Metropolis of Kumasi is thought to be in her early 60s.

According to reports, after the woman was slain by the suspect, her body was hidden in her toilet.

On Monday, February 6, 2023, Madam Rose Gyaah, the dead, is said to have been stabbed eight times with a knife.

Eyewitnesses said that the suspect, Koo Baah, 21, threatened to use a pistol to murder anyone who attempted to apprehend him after the horrible deed.

Later, he was picked up by some local teenagers and taken to the airport where police picked him up.

Mr. Hamidu Issah, a tenant at the home, described the event to Ghanatodayonline.com’ Jacob Agyenim Boateng.

We initially mistook Madam Rose’s calling Koo Baafi’s name, who serves as her errand boy, for a regular call. However, when we discovered the deceased’s voice was feeble, we hurried to her apartment on the third floor of the building.

“We got there only to see blood stains all over the place, so we begun following the blood stains and discovered the woman was dragged to the bathroom by the suspect”.

“We immediately called the police but the woman was dead when she was finally sent to hospital by police”

Both the death of the victim and the arrest of the suspect were confirmed by Hon. Basoa Joseph, an assemblyman from the Sepe Buokrom Electoral Area.

He pleaded with the deceased’s relatives to maintain their composure and let authorities look into the event.

The body has been sent to the mogue for autopsy.
