John Dramani Mahama, the former president, has arrived in Wa to start a two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region.
Before the presidential and parliamentary elections on May 13, 2023, Mr. Mahama still needs to travel to two more regions, one of which is Upper West. President Mahama will stop by each of the eleven constituencies on this tour to speak with branch and constituency executives.
Mr. Mahama will utilize the journey to energize the National Democratic Congress (NDC) base, mobilize them, and inspire them in preparation for the 2024 election.
According to the #JMCampaignTracker, the ‘Building the Ghana we want Together’ campaign visited 257 constituencies in 14 regions, which entailed traveling over 12,000 kilometers and interacting with more than 337,000 delegates.
Mr. Mahama will continue his 16-region campaign tour from the Upper West Region to the Savanna Region.
