According to reports, an accident occurred yesterday at around 6:30 am in Adieso in the Upper West Akim district of the Eastern region, leaving one person dead and 15 others seriously hurt.
According to eyewitness accounts, some of whom are medical professionals, the accident’s exact cause was unknown, but they witnessed a car with the license plate GT-6741-20 veer off the road and perform a somersault, with its four tires tilted skyward.
Afeema News spoke with a few witnesses who believe the breach was unsuccessful.
The patients were rushed to an Adieso facility, where several were treated before being promptly transferred to Koforidua Central Hospital.
The lack of PPEs and the lateness of the ambulance to carry urgent cases were complaints from the Adieso health staff.
They are however, asking authorities to provide them with the needed health tools to help them discharge their responsibilities.
