On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the Mid-Year Budget Review is anticipated to be presented to Parliament by Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
As the business statement for the coming week in Parliament was being presented, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the First Deputy Majority Whip, made the announcement.
“In pursuant to the Public Financial Management Act 2016, At 921 the Minister for Finance is expected to present the mid-year review of the budget statement on Economy Policy of the Government of Ghana for the year 2023 financial to this house on Tuesday, July 26 2023,” she stated.
Alhassan also advised the House that a combined Caucus meeting is planned for Wednesday, July 19, 2023, to talk about crucial issues.
She suggested that the House hold prolonged sittings and begin its daily sessions at 10:00 AM in order to ensure that bills are properly considered and passed on time.
Alhassan also underlined the necessity for committees having unfinished business to finish it quickly and bring it to the House’s notice.
