A/R: Two die in accident at Oforikrom

Two people have been killed in a collision at the Opoku Transport crossing on the Tech-Oforikrom section of the Kumasi-Accra route.

A commercial bus with the OA symbol and a Ford transit “trotro” bus collided at the crossing.

Both the driver and the trotro’s conductor (companion) perished in the collision. The fully loaded OA bus also reported several injuries.

It is believed that the intersection’s malfunctioning traffic lights were one of the primary reasons of the collision.
