The Circuit Court in Accra has once more remanded fetish priestess Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, for the ensuing four days.
This came about when the prosecution requested more time from the court to make some changes and to interview each complainant involved in the case.
On October 17, 2022, she is scheduled to reemerge.
On Monday, October 10, the court ordered that she be held in proper custody for the ensuing three days.
She had earlier entered a not guilty plea to six counts of defrauding by false pretenses and Chalatanic advertisement.
She was remanded in custody after the court, presided over by His Honor Samuel Bright Acquah, heard her attorneys’ request for bail and the prosecution’s opposition.
The court stated that no one knew what she would think of next given her prior experience with the law governing “sika gari” and the current money-doubling scheme.
