Akufo-Addo’s driver wins La Dadekotopon NPP primary

Akufo-Addo’s personal driver, Joseph Kwashie Addo, defeated Solomon Kotey Niko in a landslide victory at Zenith University College in La.

Joseph Addo won by 664 out of a total of 1,221 votes, while his opponent, Solomon Kotey Niko, garnered 555 votes with two ballots rejected.

This was a surprising turn of events for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Dadekotopon, Solomon Kotey Niko, Solomon Kotey Niko, who was running for the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area. After his victory, Joseph Addo thanked the thousand-plus delegates for their support in the contest.

After the earlier acclaimed parliamentary candidate, Dr. Joseph Gerald Nyanyofio, resigned, Joseph Addo emerged as the front-runner, promising to unite the party’s rank and file and win the seat from the NDC.

Joseph Addo successfully garnered a sizable amount of support by leveraging the area’s youth to secure employment opportunities.
