Alan joins Ayawaso West Wougon Muslim community in solem prayer session of Iftar

Hon. Alan Kyerematen, a potential candidate for president, has joined the Muslim community at an Iftar program in Accra’s Ayawaso West Wougon.

The Muslim community and the office of the National Chief joined the former trade and industry minister, who lives in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, to break their fast on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Top campaign team members joined him at the Iftar, where he preached on the importance of religious harmony and interfaith love.

Alhaji Abdul Lateef and Imam Muktari Abbass, two senior members of the Office of the Chief Imam, served as the Chief Imam’s representatives.

Addressing at the event, Hon. Alan Kyerematen urged the Muslim community to uphold their love for one another and share it with people of other religions in the nation.

He exhorted the youth to maintain their good behavior even after the fasting time and to view the holy month of Ramadan as a purifying month.

According to reports, as the New Patriotic Party prepares for the National Presidential Primaries scheduled for November 2023, the former trade and industry minister is in the lead.
