According to reports, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy, the former chairman of the Church of Pentecost, passed away.
He was reportedly residing in Germany.
Michael Ntumy was employed in Yendi as a teacher in the 1980s before taking on the positions of Elder and Deacon. At the age of 24, he wed Martha, and at the age of 26, he started serving the Church of Pentecost full-time.
Acknowledged for his commitment, he was 33 years old when appointed to the position of Apostle.
After six years, he was elected to the fourth Chairmanship of The Church of Pentecost.
After ten years of distinguished service, Michael Ntumy stepped down politely and gave Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah the reins.
After 39 years in the ministry, he retired as an apostle last year.
