Asantehene to present progress report on Bawku conflict to Mahama

The important mediation meeting between the Mamprusi and Kusasi groups over the protracted dispute in Bawku has been effectively concluded by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The three-hour meeting, held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, seemed to have ended positively, evidenced by elation from both sides of the divide upon its conclusion.

The calm outcome was foreshadowed at by the joyous attitude of fans who had assembled outside the palace gates.
