Asenso-Boakye is dearly missed at the Jubilee House – Akufo Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed that former Deputy Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House, Francis Asenso-Boakye is already missed by workers at the Presidency.

”He does everything appropriately. He will always bring you good news whenever I send him to do something on my behalf.  He became the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House and till date, people still call his name and praise him for his hard work”, the president disclosed.

President Akufo-Addo also mentioned how he fell in love with Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye as soon as they first met as students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

“I appreciate you raising Asenso-Boakye on my behalf.” The President said, “He does things best.”

At the launching of a state-of-the-art library and technology hub in the Bantama constituency bearing his name, the First Gentleman made this statement at Bantama today, Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

The new library at Bantama is the 127th in the country.

Commenting on the project, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated that he really appreciates and commends the efforts of Mr. Asenso-Boakye and his decision to name the project after named after him (President).

He noted that he was happier because the project named after him is an educational one.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo asked the people of Bantama constituency in the Ashanti Region to retain Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye as their Member of Parliament in the 2024 general elections.

He stressed that it would hurt him much if the people Bantama do not retain Mr. Asenso-Boakye.

“It will hurt me so much if people of Bantama throw him away. Give him the opportunity to represent you again and he will come and continue the good job he has been doing”.

Speaking about the 2024 presidential contest, President Nana Akufo-Addo emphasized that the NPP flagbearer’s competency is what counts and asked Ghanaians to reject ethnocentric and religion-based politics in their opposition. He conveyed his optimism that Dr. Bawumia would make a fantastic president.

The President also took aim at John Dramani Mahama, the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former President of Ghana, claiming that his intention to run for office again is a lie to the people of Ghana.

Additionally, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama was instructed to ignore by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo since he had nothing better to give the people of Ghana.
