Over sixty (62) social media communicators known as serial callers with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region have received equipment to prosecute the party’s agenda.
Ahead of the 2024 polls, the party is poised to ‘break the 8’, hence, former Constituency Treasurer for Bosomtwe, Hon. Joseph Asante has presented mobile phones and cash of Ghc100 to each serial caller.
According to the business, known in the media circles as ‘Sika Wowuram’, to wit, ‘Money comes from the bush’, the gesture forms part of his readiness to ensure Ghanaians home and abroad will hear the good of the government.
‘Regardless of propaganda by our opponents, this is the time for some of us to support our brothers who have taken it upon themselves to defend the party on radio day-to-day. As we seek to break the 8, let’s all support whoever becomes our flag bearer after this primary, and let’s also eschew rancor and bitterness among ourselves’, Hon. Asante admonished NPP folks.
Robert Boateng, Chairman of the Serial Callers Association in the region received the phones and other items on behalf of his colleagues and entreated another party to do the same.
Firstly, our gratitude goes to Hon. Joseph Asante for the love shown to us. I’ll also plead to our government appointees, CEO, and Minister to come to our aide.’, he appealed.
