Ashie Moore elected Greater Accra NDC Chairman

Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan seat, has been chosen as the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman (NDC).

At the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday, Ashie Moore defeated Joseph Ade Coker, the current Chairman, with 327 votes to win the election. Coker had received 222 votes.

If he was kept on as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Ade Coker had promised to annex the NDC’s lost seats in Parliament.

Kennedy Hedo received 607 votes to gain the position of Deputy Treasurer, while Jerry Johnson was chosen as the party’s communication officer for Greater Accra.

Mohammed Norga was chosen as Treasurer, while Gambo Abdulai was chosen as Deputy Organiser.

Theophilus Tetteh was chosen to serve as Secretary in place of Anthony Nukpenu, who was retained as the organizer.
