According to Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-administration Addo’s has been characterized by despair and leadership instability.
The guy known as General Mosquito continued by saying that Akufo-Addo’s assertions that he could revitalize the economy and not simply raise the dead were nothing more than empty rhetoric intended to mislead Ghanaians.
Johnson Aseidu Nketiah said, “The Akufo Addo-Bawumia-led administration has contrived immense misery for the average Ghanaian,” in his “True State of the Nation Address” on March 20, 2023.
He insisted that the state of the economy under the leadership of the president and his vice has deteriorated, causing serious financial problems and a high cost of living.
According to Asiedu Nketiah, Akufo Addo’s administration has increased the price of even sanitary pads, which ladies use when they have their monthly discharge.
“Also, a bag of cement which sold for GH¢ 27.00 in December 2016 is today selling at a staggering GHS90.00 and last, but not least, sanitary pad which used to sell for averagely GH¢ 2.50 in December 2016 is today selling for GH¢ 20.00,” he said.
This is the true state of the nation once all is said and done. We experience this when we visit the market. We detect this in our pockets.
Asiedu Nketia went on to say that President Akufo-Addo had destroyed the nation’s economy.
