The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association(CPA) International’s new president is the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

At the recently concluded 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC), which Canada hosted in Halifax, he was unanimously chosen to serve as the President of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), an association of more than 180 Commonwealth Parliaments.
