Bawumia has never been accused of corruption, has never been investigated for corruption – Napo

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running partner, has steadfastly upheld Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s integrity, emphasizing that the party’s leader has never been associated with any corruption controversy in his personal or professional life.

Speaking on Sunday, August 18, 2024, during the NPP manifesto launch, Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s impeccable record, saying, ” Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not corrupt. I know in his private life he has never been accused of corruption, and in his public life, he has never been investigated for corruption.”

These remarks are a part of the NPP’s continuous campaign to present Dr. Bawumia as an honest candidate in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election.

The party is confident in Bawumia’s ethical values, both personally and professionally, Dr. Opoku Prempeh said.
