According to Mavis Hawa Koomson, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is the NPP’s best chance to break the 8 in the 2024 elections.
According to the minister, Dr. Bawumia possesses the charisma and skills needed by the New Patriotic Party to succeed Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The majority of NPP MPs are backing the second gentleman of Ghana, according to Hawa Koomson, who also stated that he is the candidate of the NPP who can turn around the nation’s fortunes.
Speaking on Asempa FM while being watched by Ghanatodayonline.com was Hawa Koomson, a member of parliament for Awutu Senya explain the reason why majority of MP’s are supporting Bawumia.
“Have you asked yourself why majority members of parliament are supporting Dr. Bawumia? Have you asked yourself this question before?” she quizzed.
“He is the only person who can change this country,” Hawa Koomson said.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been predicted by NPP MPs including Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Frank Annoh Dompreh, and Umar Farouk Aliu Mahama to be the party’s flagbearer.
